Giant crab drops Ryoko on hard and higher, but very rare
Galdes' red crystals drop an orichalcum on normal... but at a VERY VERY low rate. Probably as low as the Giant Crab's old sword/ryoko.
It's too bad that the boss in Rela Cyel (The big fish with the Crystal Horn) is not in one of the library books!!
I have a question! after fighting the Gaurdian and Buffasaurus in Forest 1 and Aqueducts 1, Do they drop the Gaurdian Bangle/Taurus Brooch at a low rate or do you have to wait until Lvl 2 of that stage?
My first Sei Gem came from Library 1 Larkeicus. So I presume that's on his Normal drop list.
Mimics on Hard, at Gate dropped Kitty Staff, and Skull Diva for me.
Homerun Slugger dropped on Hard Mimics at Riverbelle for me.
Just got a Robot Howitzer from the 2nd room Mimic on Hard in Riverbelle. Not sure if the first one and second one drop anything different, but I slain 38 in the first room and this is the first Robot Howitzer I got and it was from the one in the second room. Sorry for the Triple Posting Btw...
Got a Dragon Tusk Scroll from Mimic in 2nd Room in Riverbelle. ( Have yet to get any of the same scrolls from the first room's Mimic. )

Mimics in library 2 drop earth earrings, classic misanga, and storm misanga, all on normal mode
The storm misanga says that it protects against wind. That seems to sound like the wind earrings, but I'm not sure whether they're the same thing. (I have the misanga, no earrings.)
I got the wind earrings so nevermind that part. I forgot to mention, the three items I mentioned before are all accessories.

i have been killing cloud bees for a while now and have yet to get any honey acid.do i have to kill cloud bees in a certain area or is it possibly rare?that or im just very unlucky
I got Honey Acid from the bee's from forest 2 in the room right before the boss on hard...
In forest 1 the gaurdian drops platinum on very hard.
you neglected to add "wandering soul" i think it drops from ROF galdes but not sure
Previous person is correct, wandering soul does drop from the final ROF boss.
What drops the Goblin Ring?

Found out for myself that the Goblin ring is in a chest in the River Bell, in the first section. Also, on creatures like Mimics, etc that drop different items, if you beat them, leave the section and return to fight them again, sometimes these monsters drop different items. Sometimes, it's just coins; other times it's a missing scroll.
Isn't the bosses in the gate called Sentries instead of death machines? And I am looking for the goblin ring in River Belle and can't find it anywhere. Is it because I am on hard mode?
hey is it possible that you couls make a list of accessories that tells the amount of open slots where to get it and what other effects it has like fruity nuggets or like atk. 56 .

Are mimics those creatures that attacked the village 2000 years ago? if not, what do they look like?
Mimics are the monsters that "Mimic" chests until you attack them.
all lizardmen drop steel on all levels its just a really rare item for them ive gotten steel at least once from every lizardmen on normal and hard i havent played very hard yet but i bet its the same also honey acid is also dropped by all the cloud bees on normal and hard but they dont seem to drop anything after you defeat them the first time so i suggest killing them then rentering the room if your looking for honey acid it is a very rare item also and for both honey acid and steel i found myself defeating 15-20 of them for one piece so thiers about a 5%-7% chance of getting these materials im going to try ladyluck and see if it helps in materials and items that are this rare

Hello, I just what to post something that you missed in the drop table.
In the [Gate], the Mimic drops a Paladin Helm (Scroll) on Normal Mode.
I am putting this here because it's missing from the drops table.
found old sword is only dropped in hard mode.
Not sure if you are updating this guide anymore (and fantastic guide by the way), but I noticed you only have up to Haku Gems listed on RoF bosses in H/VH. I have obtained as high as a Murasaki from "Dragon" boss (and all bosses above him) in H mode (and naturally also VH). Bosses lower than him I have yet to get it to drop, but I have seen Shisui's from as low as Behemoth, also on H mode. Thanks.
is this based on DS version, wii version or both? Because the lava spider also drops spider bow scroll on normal mode... and i see someone already mention the sei gem it also drops... atleast it does on the wii version
awesome guide, i was wondering if there was a faster or easier way to get to the boss of atleast acuaducts1, fire mountain1, and ice mountain1 after you've beaten them? or do i hav to go and everything again every time?

Lava Spider drops Spider Bow scroll on all 3 difficulties and Lizardmen (Lizardmans? lol) drop Lizard Scales on all 3 difficulties, so this needs updated.
These are based on the Wii version, though. Maybe you could fix it so that it fits both the Wii version and the DS version... Or something... I dunno... ^^;
I can confirm that the Behemoth drops Sui Gems on normal, I don't know about the others.
Just tried giant crab twice and got the old sword and ryoko gem. Try to use lady luck.
