The full walkthrough is looking really good so far. I do enjoy your clean layout.

I really need to get Revenant Wings - I passed it up due to other games. There's just too many good games out right now. You'll most likely be through with that guide by the time I get Revenant Wings. Good for me! :D

man thanks for your support :)

Mmmm I plan on getting Revenant Wings sometime soon so I'm looking forward to using your guide- your walkthroughs are always very well-written :]

On a different note, I saw you on the boards today and I had an (incredibly dorky) excited little geekout because I saw that you were online :P

I guess you're talking the GameFAQs board right? yeah just feel free to post a few message XD

artixaq, what is you level? I beat this at 25-27 level and it's quite hard. So I recommend you get higher than level 27.

Kytes' Blizzaga all Bombs to avoid their self-destruct. Lure out enemy espers from their groups and break them seperately. Another tactic is (not 100% good) use Lamia's Entice the enemy espers and let them do some stupid thing awhile so you have better advantage before their pushing into your groups.

Character will join as the story progress further, like many other RPGs, you don't need to find them.

Okay, just wanna say, I'm your fan. I really love your FAQs because it's very helpful and has a very nice layout.

Actually I'm still into another game right now, but I'll surely use your FFXII FAQ whenever I'm stuck =D

Good job ^____^

Hi sephirosuy! Your guides are real gems, both this one and the one on GameFAQs.

I just wanted to clarify on how to obtain the Wavefront and Trident in the Mission 4-1. I've opened all 5 of the item chests or opened 4 or 3 of them while letting Rikken open the other 1 or 2 respectively. After the battle, I wasn't awarded those two weapons.

Could you tell me what I'm not doing correctly? Do the mimic chests count among the chests that can be touched? Anyhow, I've avoided them and made sure Rikken's group never did either. Still no effect.

Thanks a lot!

P.S. The GameFAQs guide mentioned 6 chests with items but I could only find 5.

I had hoped that like FF Tactics Advance RW would have better secrets, like hidden characters and such, but it appears not to be the case... Are there any secrets that cant be found by simply completing all the missions?

According to sparksmf's guide on gamefaq, after beating Midlight's Deep, Vaan's weapon, Anastasia, will supposedly "power-up". And after beating it 9 times, Anastasia's stats will be maxed. Do you know how Anastasia is powered up and the max stats for it if this is all true?

Anonymous said...

^ yes, you beat midlight once the anastasia +10 to all stats, sephirosuy's guide on gamefaqs did mention this too

Interestingly enough, i think the stats menus seem to leave alot of questions... Lemme expose you to the english version for a better idea...

My Penelo screen shows various things... When we go into stats, it shows hp, affinity, etc.. Very easy.. Next row it just says "Description." This is easy to interpret..Now, below that is 2 columns. First column is the following...

Strength: 202
Magick: 350 (Yea, i think they mispelled magic...)
Stamina: 210
Mind: 397
Speed: 216

Simple enough, until you get to the second column...

Attack: 100
Magick Attack: 172
Defense: 112
Magick Defense: 189
Attack Speed: 13

Hm... Now to me... Attack and Strength are the same thing... Aside from the fact it's totally confusing that Penelo even has strength and attack (since she's a healer), why are they different and what do each of their differences do on the field. Now, you have Magick and Magick attack and defense... What? THen all the sudden you have "speed" and "attack speed." Looks simple to me, as speed is unit speed and attack speed is how often the unit swings. And what in the world is "Stamina?" To me, that's how far the character runs before getting tired out, and i don't thionk my stamina is fast enough on my characters to never, ever get tired out. And what in the world is mind?

btw there is a better way to beat the final boss. have vaan gambit dervish, penelo curaga/raise, kytes charge(then just keep an eye on him), llyud jump/crimson wings/raise, and bache shell for the magic arm, protect for melee arm, and shining ray/flash of steel for the rest. have a strong ranged esper III on your team as well and put it under bache's team. then take out the magic arm, melee arm, and have bache's team (not bache himself) attack the core while the others stand along the edges to fire magic and heal. soon bache's quickening will turn on, use it instantly, and wait for it to charge and use it again etc. then when bahamut appears, have bache's team swith to bahamut resummon when necessary. using this way, i beat the mission and only summoned 5 replacements.

same goes for the mission: keeper of precepts, battle on the big bridge, and most of the hard missions. btw melee arm(right to player means the arm that does the smash thing, and magic arm(left to player) is the one that does the magic that hurts you wherever you are.

LEET WORLD!!!

-Kohlrak
Stamina is supposed to be like the character's physical defence and mind is supposed to be the character's magical defence
