Seph, the infinity 7 skill doesn't show you its effects, but it makes you invincible to all damage but instant kill

Based on the effects of other skills wouldn't combat increase melee damage 30% not 40%?
Who's the best character? On my game HUNK (mr. death) can be hit 3 TIMES by executioner red w/out luck and not enter dying status.
Wesker (Uroboros) takes the least damage. However, almost (if not all) character's damage taken and vitality recovery balance out.
